Blueprints Medicine

What position in the medical industry pays the most?
I live in Canada, Alberta. I won’t be living here forever, I’ll most likely move once I’m done all my schooling.
How much more money would I make if I went to an Ivy League School like Harvard?
Also what would be a good kind of surgery to go into that would make a lot of money? Where would be a good place to live pay wise for surgeons

I heard General Practitioners only make something like $160,000 – $200,000 per year. That’s not what my “financial blueprint” is set for. I’m going for the $400,000+ range once I get settled into it. What type of medicine should I be looking into for that salary range?
I’m sorry if this sounds a little arrogant but when I am searching the salaries of doctors and general surgeons, when I see $150,000 per year this looks lousy to me. I’m aiming higher than that.
Will it be possible to make $500,000+ a year in Medicine? And how?
I am a med student and tbh doctors don’t get paid a whole lot until they become consultants(which can take up to 15 years after being a doctor). Starting salaries in the UK(which is where I live) is no more than £50,000 and that’s the high end of the spectrum. If you decide to specialise in a type of surgery that would take a minimum of 10 years altogether(undergraduate medicine and postgrad degree). This is assuming that you go straight to study for your chosen specialise surgery after your undergraduate degree and of course not working~(or having to balance working as a doctor and studying for your specialised surgery). And you will spend a couple years of your earnings paying off loans and debts you have accumulated. If all you want is money then you’re better off doing something like international business affairs or economics. The stress of being a doctor or a surgeon might sometimes seem too huge for the money that is paid. If you do decide you still want to be a surgeon, remember not to mention to the interviewers if you get any uni interviews that your main motivation is money.
