Medicine For Mountaineering
What opportunities are there for a Family Medicine doctor to receive training in Mountain/Expedition medicine?
I am a 4th year medical student currently preparing to apply for a Family Medicine residency in 2012. I am also interested in future training in the area of Alpine Mountaineering, as a hobby.
Are there opportunities for training in Mountain Medicine for Family practitioners? If so, where can I find information on such programs?

Probably better to ask at SDN, someone there is more likely to know. Although I suspect that if anything exists it will be CME.
